Making a Difference

At Uganda- Helping Hands, we believe in creating lasting change through comprehensive, community-centered programs. Our projects address the root causes of vulnerability while providing immediate support to those who need it most. Each project is designed with sustainability in mind, ensuring that the impact continues long after the initial intervention.

EDUCATION SUPPORT

Ensuring vulnerable children can access quality education through scholastic materials, tuition support, and school enrollment assistance. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and build a brighter future.

ORPHAN CARE

Providing a safe, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children who have lost parental care. Our current shelter is overcrowded and structurally unsafe, so we are constructing a new, secure orphan home.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Empowering women and girls through vocational skills training, including tailoring and sewing programs. Participants gain practical skills that enable them to earn income and regain confidence.

COMMUNITY SACCO

A community savings and credit initiative providing small loans to farmers and small business owners. This program promotes economic self-reliance and helps families invest in their futures.

WATER AND SANITATION

Improving access to clean, safe water in rural communities through well construction and water projects. Clean water transforms health, education, and economic opportunities.

HUMANITARIAN AID

Providing emergency support to vulnerable individuals including clothing, bedding, household necessities, and shelter support during times of crisis.

FARMING AND POULTRY

Carrying out farming and poultry activities for extra income to support the community during times of crisis.
